About Brady
Brady was born at Mobile Infirmary on Tuesday, June 18, 1996 at 8:07 pm. He weighed 9 pounds and was 22” long – he was a BIG boy!
Growing up, Brady tried just about everything a boy could try – Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Boy Scouts, Gymnastics, Karate, Football, Choir, Tennis, and Band. But what he loved the most was singing and tennis!
Brady was involved in church from his first Sunday on earth (almost!). He enjoyed singing in the Children’s choir, being involved in Mission Friends, Royal Ambassadors his Youth Department and played in every worship band that would let him. As he entered the Youth Department, he even attended several different churches so that he could participate in as many bands and youth groups as he could. No one church could contain Brady! Brady loved the Lord with all his heart, and now he is spending eternity worshipping Him!
Brady also found joy working at United Cerebral Palsy’s Camp Smile. He spent several weeks over the summers of 2011, 2012 and 2013 loving on special campers and helping them have the time of their lives at Camp. Brady told many people that, although Camp was for the campers, he always ended up feeling as though he was the one who had been blessed! Another one of Brady’s favorite activities was mission trips to Tanzania, Africa. Over the past three summers, he had taken three mission trips to Africa with Medreach, Inc., a non-profit group that provides medical care and evangelism to remote villages in Tanzania. Brady was the youngest person to ever go on such a trip with Medreach, and he went when he was 14 years old! After that summer, he would go two more times, when he was 15 and 16 years old. On the mission trips, Brady would cook for the medical team members, help set up camp, teach bible lessons to the African children, and even go out in the evenings with the teams who would show the Jesus Film, then share Christ with the Africans through translators. Brady had a burning passion to share the Lord he loved with people all cross the world.
Brady’s family was very important to him, too. He loved his mom and dad, and they loved him – almost more than life itself! He was their only child, even though they tried for many years to have more children. Brady always wanted brothers and sisters, so through his friends and family, he had many adopted brothers and sisters! Brady grew up very fortunate - his two grandmothers would babysit him when he was little, when his mom went back to work after he was born. Todd’s mom, ‘Nana’, and Cherise’s mom, ‘Grammie’, took very good care of him every day while Brady’s parents worked to provide for him. Before long, Brady’s cousins came along – on Todd’s side is Hannah, Tyler and Susan, and on Cherise’s side is Ryder and Ava Claire. Brady loved them so much! Brady had so many good times spending the night at his aunt and uncles houses, having fun with his cousins – he just loved spending time with them whenever he could.
